Neovise Follow Acclaimed Debut Single 'Gravity' With Emotional New Single 'Lifeline'

Following the strong first impression made by their debut single “Gravity”, German newcomers NEOVISE return with their second single “Lifeline”, out October 2 via Arising Empire. While “Gravity” introduced the band’s emotionally charged take on modern heavy music, “Lifeline” pushes that identity further into darker, heavier and even more vulnerable territory.

Where “Gravity” was about the person who holds your life in orbit, “Lifeline” explores what happens when that person is suddenly gone. Together, the two songs establish the emotional ground NEOVISE write from: love and fear.

“Lifeline” is not a song about giving up. At its core, it is about wanting to stay without knowing how. It captures the difficult space between having already made the decision to keep going and still searching for the strength to do so. A plea for a reason to stay runs through the track, turning its darkness into an ode to living rather than leaving.

That conflict also manifests itself through self-sabotage. “Lifeline” explores the impulse to burn every bridge and close every door from the inside, cutting yourself off before anyone else gets the chance to do it first. Yet at the same time, there is an overwhelming need for someone to reach through that isolation and pull you back.

The song’s title becomes a direct metaphor for that hope: a lifeline thrown to someone who can no longer swim back on their own. This imagery also carries into the accompanying visuals, where hanging chains remain within reach, waiting to be taken.

Daniel explains:

“This is the most honest we've been. 'Lifeline' is that moment where you've run out of strength and the only thing left is to say it out loud: I need someone to pull me out. It’s the bravest thing you can do.”

Musically, NEOVISE translate that emotional tension into a dynamic collision of crushing heaviness, atmosphere and carefully placed moments of restraint. Instead of relying purely on impact, the band deliberately leave room for silence and vulnerability, allowing the quieter sections to hit just as hard as the song’s explosive peaks.

Simon comments:

“After 'Gravity' we wanted to go somewhere darker and heavier without losing the flow. Making it heavy was the easy part. The work was leaving room for the quiet moments, because that's where the song actually hurts."

Adding another layer to NEOVISE’s rapidly developing identity is the fact that the band operates with complete creative control over their music. “Lifeline” was written, recorded, produced, mixed and mastered entirely by NEOVISE themselves, continuing the fully self-produced approach behind the project. From songwriting and performance to the final production, the band shape every element of their sound from within.

Following the momentum generated by “Gravity”, “Lifeline” offers a deeper look into what NEOVISE are building. Rather than simply repeating the formula of their debut, the band expand both its emotional and sonic extremes, establishing a world where massive modern heaviness and genuine vulnerability can exist side by side.

With only two singles released, NEOVISE are already defining the foundation of their identity: love and fear, connection and isolation, heaviness and vulnerability.

“Lifeline” arrives October 2, 2026 via Arising Empire.
